Polda Papua Targets 12,160 of Its Personnel Participates in Corona Vaccines
The Papua Regional Police are targeting 12,160 personnel to receive the corona vaccine, which is planned to begin on March 15.
The Head of the Papua Police Health Doc, Kombes Pol, doctor Nariyana, said that giving vaccines to the police in Papua is in line with the government's program of vaccinating public servants and law enforcers.
"We have coordinated with the provincial, city and district health offices to prepare vaccines for TNI-Polri personnel at the Papua Police and ranks," he explained, Friday (5/3).
Nariyana added that the target of the corona vaccine is given to all personnel, both organic and BKO, and NCO and Taruna students who are carrying out Distance Learning (PJJ).
The Papua Police noted that 12,160 personnel across all ranks would receive the corona vaccine. "If this is multiplied, it means that 24,320 vials of the corona vaccine must be given to personnel for two injections," he explained.
He hopes that all personnel can carry out the corona vaccination, according to the stages.
The corona vaccine is believed to provide immunity or that will form after 14 to 28 days, after being injected into vaccine recipients up to two injections.
"After receiving the vaccination, it is hoped that they will continue to carry out health protocols by maintaining distance, staying away from crowds, wearing masks and reducing mobility," he said.
