Troops of Troubles Burn Honai belonging to Residents in Puncak Regency, this is the trigger
The Separatist Terrorist Group (KST) in Papua, led by Numbuk Telenggen again, burned a honai belonging to a local resident who is an Indigenous Papuan (OAP) on behalf of Koname Murib (Dani Tribe) in Jenggernok Village, Gome District, Puncak Regency, Papua, Monday. (31/01/2022).
Kapendam XVII/Cenderawasih Colonel Inf. Aqsha Erlangga, said the arson occurred at around 11.59 WIT.
The incident, continued Kapendam, was triggered by the problem of disconnecting the water channel carried out by KST at the Gome Koramil Post, the Kodim Task Force Yonif R 408/SBH.
"The problem of burning honai begins with the disconnection of the water channel by KST led by Numbuk Telenggen. Then one of the residents, Koname Murib helped the personnel of the Gome Koramil Post Task Force Battalion Infantry Battalion R 408/SBH to repair the water channel that flows to the Gome Koramil Post," he explained.
Not accepting this, the KST gang suddenly burned Koname Murib's honai.
“Her honai was scorched. Hopefully the security forces together with the community can fix this soon. We also ask for prayers from all footholds so that the situation is more conducive, "said the head of the pendam.
It is known that for the umpteenth time, the KST gang carried out acts of terror against the public. Until now, the community is on guard to anticipate the follow-up actions of these security intruders.
One local resident said he would continue to pray and hope that the situation would remain safe.
"We, the people, continue to pray that the situation is safe and the KST terror act can be overcome soon," he said.
