TNI Provides Physical Training for Prospective Soldiers in Papua

To help realize the dream of Papuan youths becoming soldiers of the Indonesian Army, personnel of the Battalion 713 / ST Task Force forged the physical development of the residents of Kampung Kukup.

Dansatgas Yonif 713 / ST, Lt. Col. Inf Dony Gredinand, SH, M.Tr.Han., MIPol said, this physical training was carried out on Sunday (6/14/2020) by Pos Koya Koso led by Letda Inf Abel along with several personnel to youth Papuans who want to devote themselves to being soldiers of the Army.

"This guidance is given to those who aspire to become warriors, so that they will have good physical security before participating in the selection of recruits," he said.

He further said, this physical training was motivated because he saw the high interest of Papuan youth who aspired to become TNI soldiers.

"To help him, we also took the initiative to provide physical training, with the hope that they are physically ready to face every set of tests that will be faced later," he explained.

According to Dony Gredinand, this physical training is important in the readiness to register as a TNI soldier.

"As soldiers, of course we strongly support the sons and daughters of Papua wanting to become TNI soldiers. We will be happy to help provide coaching, so that they can be equipped in the selection and hopefully can deliver them to graduate as soldiers of the Army, he explained.
