Tambrauw DPRD Appreciates the Recruitment of the Police for the Special Autonomy Pathway
The recruitment of non-commissioned officers from the National Police on the Otsus route has successfully received a positive response from the Tambrauw Regency DPRD. For the policy realization of the program, Deputy Chairperson of Commission II of the Tambrauw Regency DPRD Hayat Tamsil A. Karim expressed his appreciation to the Indonesian National Police under the Chief General of Pol Listiyo Sigit Prabowo, who had opened up opportunities for the recruitment of NCOs on the special autonomy route.
"The recruitment of the NCO Police on the Otsus route is really present and felt by the people of West Papua, especially in the Tambrauw Regency area. I would like to convey my appreciation to the West Papua Police Chief, who has sided with OAP through OAP. This shows that the special autonomy is really present and felt directly by the indigenous Papuan people, "he said.
Nevertheless, continued Hayat Tamsil, the West Papua Police Chief must prioritize transparency in the selection process, by taking into account and accommodating all OAPs in West Papua who wish to participate in the selection.
"Keep prioritizing transparency. Apart from that, districts and cities that do not meet the quota must be accommodated properly. So that any OAP can be accepted in the process," he said.
