THE COMMUNITY OF SAOKA KOTA SORONG SUPPORT SUSTAINABILITY OTSUS

"Based on the aspirations of the people in Saoka Village that the sustainability of Otsus is still needed."

That was the firm statement of La Syamsudin, Head of Saoka Village, Sorong City. Syamsudin assessed that Otsus was very important for the development of facilities and infrastructure used by the community at the Kelurahan level.

"I hope to the City Government, Provincial Government and Central Government that this Special Autonomy is very important because it can improve the standard of living, improve the status of the indigenous Papuan people, especially in the fields of Education, Health, and the People's Economy," said Syamsudin.

Basically, both RT or RW heads, traditional leaders, community leaders, religious leaders, women's leaders and youth leaders always need special autonomy for human resource empowerment.

"I, as Lurah Saoka, will continue to support government programs, considering that the government has also given more attention to ASN and the community, especially in Papua," concluded Syamsudin.
