Billy Mambrasar Target Every Year 100 Young Entrepreneurs Are Born From Papua

President Joko Widodo's Special Staff, Billy Mambrasar, will launch 20 new young entrepreneurs in Sorong on February 26, 2020. "That's just the beginning. What will be launched are entrepreneurs from various fields such as the creative economy, startups, and technology. They can get financial assistance from the Ministry of Cooperatives through LPDP funds, plus continuous training for a year.

In commemoration of the 165th Anniversary of the Gospel in the Maranatha Church in Manokwari, Billy hopes that the church will become a locomotive in producing young entrepreneurs who are ready to compete with domestic and foreign businesses.

"The church must be a house of blessing, not just studying the Bible. In each church there needs to be a space that we can function to train church youths in the business knowledge," Billy said.

He targeted, every year there are 100 young entrepreneurs born from Papua. Church youth are asked to prepare themselves to develop the welfare of the community from the entrepreneurial sector.

"We know Ahmad Zaki who has a bukalapak, then Andi Taufan who has Amartha Financial. They are all young people my age and are now millionaires. We must show that we can also be like them," said Mambrasar again.

Following up on President Joko Widodo's orders, preparing young entrepreneurs, especially from Papua, will continue to be encouraged. In addition, she and the President's special staff, Putri Tanjung, will tour Indonesia this year to branding Indonesia's Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

Billy was also asked by the President to focus on overseeing the construction of the Youth Creative Hub building in Jayapura. "It is a building that will provide training and give birth to new entrepreneurs. Mr. President asked me to monitor the construction of the building, "he explained.
