After the series of worship continued with the report of the Chair of the Gospel Preaching Anniversary Committee, Nataniel D. Mandacan. Previously, Nataniel welcomed all invited guests in Papua and outside Papua who attended the PI anniversary celebration.

Nathaniel explained that every February 5th the PI anniversary celebration would be held. But this time a little different from the previous celebration, where this is a five-year celebration and is a mass worship because it was attended by church denominations throughout Papua, guests outside the land of Papua and guests of the ambassadors of Christ from abroad.

The head of the committee, who is also the Secretary of West Papua, explained that the PI anniversary celebration was enlivened with various activities and competitions including community service activities on the island of Mansinam and the mainland town of Manokwari. While the competitions carried out include, among others, futsal for fathers among Klasis in Manokwari, children and teenagers, as well as the general public.

Then there are also vocal group competitions with acoustics, church yard cleaning competitions, hiking, choirs, a 10 kilometer race on Mansinam Island, and a carnival parade.

Nataniel also reported that the number of participants who attended worship on the island of Mansinam was estimated at 10 to 14 thousand people including Central government officials, regional officials in Papua, West Papua, BP AM GKI, congregations in Klasis in Papua, guests from outside Papua, delegates Christ ambassadors from outside Indonesia.

He also said that the PI anniversary event in 2020 was funded at Rp18 billion sourced from the West Papua Provincial Government, Manokwari Regency, Pegaf Regency, Mansel Regency Government, GKI Klasis Manokwari, and donations from donors.
