Pertamina Ensures Fuel in Papua is Safe |
Pertamina Marketing Operation Region (MOR) VIII ensures that the supply of fuel in Papua is in a safe condition for the next 23 days.
PT Pertamina (Persero) MOR VIII Communication, Relations & CSR Unit Manager Edi Mangun told Antara in Jayapura that fuel supply in Papua was safe for the next 23 days. "People do not need to worry," he stressed.
He also said that the large amount of fuel supplies at Pertamina's depot was also to meet the needs of the One Price BBM program.
Then, when asked about the operation of the gas station since the enactment of operating time restrictions, Edi admitted that currently there are operational restrictions on gas stations in Jayapura which only operate until 18:00 CET.
That provision, he said, had been followed by all gas stations in Papua, including Jayapura City and Regency. "Pertamina also supports the steps taken by the Papua Provincial Government in order to prevent the spread of the corona virus or (Covid-19)," he said.
To support the prevention of corona, Pertamina has sprayed it at gas stations using disinfectants. "In addition, the pump also provides reservoirs to wash hands as a step to prevent corona transmission," said Edi Mangun.
