Prevent Corona, Business Actors in Papua Must Have Body Temperature Gauges

Deputy Governor of Papua, Klemen Tinal asked business operators in Papua, such as shopping center entrepreneurs, hotels to restaurant entrepreneurs, to have a thermo scanner. This was done to prevent the corona virus from entering Papua.

Klemen said that the device was not expensive, only around Rp. 300 thousand.

"If these entrepreneurs do not install thermo scanners in their businesses, we will revoke the business license. All parties must commit to protect Papua from corona," he explained, Saturday (7/3).
Thermo scanners or body temperature detectors must be purchased by the business people, because many people go in and out of Papua.

Meanwhile, Ower Aston Jayapura Hotel, Fredy said Aston Hotel has implemented the rule. It's just that the thermo scanner in Jayapura runs out.

"We are ordering from outside, in anticipation of the virus spreading to Papua," Fredy said.

Aston Hotel also implements questionnaires for guests who are staying overnight. The questionnaire included whether guests who were staying overnight were having a fever, dry cough, difficulty breathing, muscle aches. And there are also questions about whether the guest has visited any Chinese city or region in the past 10 days.

"The questions we give are more about the symptoms or anticipation of the Corona virus," he said.
