Joint Patrol of the TNI and Polri Secure the City of Merauke

Merauke Police Chief AKBP Ary Purwanto, Sik through the Head of the Merauke Police Ops AKP Erol Sudrajat, S. Sos, M.Si lead the implementation of joint TNI-Polri patrols in order to secure the Merauke city of Papua. Wednesday (06/17/2020).

Precisely at 10:00 CET the task was carried out for TNI and Polri personnel followed by the implementation of Patrol in the city of Merauke in order to provide a sense of security to all residents of Merauke.

"He is right that we are carrying out large-scale patrols, both by using two-wheeled vehicles and four-and six-wheeled vehicles by combing the streets where groups gather to want to carry out a demonstration action plan today," he said.

It was further said today that we sent down 300 TNI-Polri personnel in anticipation of things that we didn't want, patrol efforts as a form of prevention.

The patrol route through the Libra-Manga Dua Kelapa-five monument, the Gudang arang area, Cikombong area, dead horses, sheep villages, old Mopah, Payum, Buti, first light and back to the Libra monument as a gathering point.

The police chief hopes and prays together to God Almighty for his protection, so that the situation in Merauke and in other areas of Papua remains safe and conducive.
