DIY FASI Expected to Maintain PON Gold Tradition

Regional administrators of the Indonesian Aero Sports Federation (Pengda Cabor FASI) DIY are expected to be able to maintain the golden tradition at the National Sports Week (PON) event which will be held in Papua 2021.

It is hoped that gold medals can be won from gliding, parachuting, aeromodelling, and hang gliding sub-sports.

Further explained, this is also expected to be a motivation for achievement, especially for other sub-branches under the auspices of FASI. Given the large potential of these sub-branches.

Not to forget, appreciation and gratitude were also conveyed to the management of FASI DIY for 2016-2020, which had previously run the program and passed many athletes to the PON XX Papua event.

The athletes who have passed are known to have entered the PON XX DIY Independent Training Center (Puslatda) and are currently carrying out independent training in their respective places.

They consist of 6 athletes and 4 glider trainers, 7 athletes and 2 parachuting trainers, 1 athlete and 1 aeromodelling coach, and 1 athlete and 1 hang gliding coach.

Thank you to the previous management, for the dedication and achievements that have passed athletes to PON Papua. In the midst of the pandemic (Covid-19), athletes who are training are expected to be able to maintain their respective conditions.
