West Papua Pertina will hold a Regional Training Center (Puslatda) in Bogor, West Java to finalize the preparations for West Papuan boxers who will compete in PON XX Papua.
The general chairman of Pertina West Papua Clinton Tallo admitted that his party was just waiting for the departure to the regional center.
"We are ready to go to follow the Puslatda in Bogor. It's just a matter of waiting from KONI whenever it can be shifted there immediately, "said Tallo recently.
He said, the selection of Bogor as a center for boxing is to make it easier to find sparring partners and has supporting facilities and infrastructure. Including a number of championships that will be followed up to the upcoming PON implementation.
In addition, one of the West Papuan boxers, Christin Jembay, who had resigned from the Puslatda due to his health condition, Tallo explained that Christin would return to join.
