TNI Assigned to Maintain the Security of the Papuan People

 

Satan's troops are the nickname for TNI soldiers from Yonif 315 / Garuda. This team will be assigned to eradicate the armed criminal group (KKB) in the Papua region.

Before being dispatched, Pangdam III Siliwangi, Maj. Gen. Nugroho Budi Wiryanto, checked personnel at the Garuda Yonif Headquarters, Bogor City, West Java, on Tuesday (27/4/2021) yesterday.

Maj. Gen. Nugroho ensured that all Yonif Garuda personnel were ready to carry out the state's task of securing the vulnerable areas of Papua. They are asked to carry out their duties with pride.

"Maintain and enhance the reputation it already has, so there is no reason to fail the operation," said Maj. Gen. Nugroho, Tuesday.

Yonif Garuda, who is nicknamed the Demon Army, has a number of capable abilities in carrying out military war operations (OMP), as well as non-OMSP warfare.

Kasdam III / Siliwangi, Brig. Gen. Kunto Arief Wibowo, said that these personnel had undergone training in combat tactics and techniques, including shooting.

"This shows the readiness of this unit to be dispatched to carry out security duties," said Brigadier General Kunto Arief.

In addition, they have the ability to sniff or smell enemies well. With this ability, Yonif Garuda earned the nickname Demon Forces.

"With its capabilities, we are sure that this unit can crush the armed separatist group (KKB) in Papua, while still paying attention to the security factor in every step and action," said Kasdam Siliwangi.
