Papuan Traditional Leaders Ask Sebby Sambon Not to Spread Terror!
The Papuan Indigenous Peoples Institute (LMA) has asked the spokesman for the TPNPB OPM, Sebby Sambom, not to spread terror to migrant civilians living in the Papua region. This statement is considered to be against the law and disturbing residents.
The General Secretary of LMA Papua, Paskalis Netep said, these migrants came to the Papua region to serve and build social life and the regional economy.
"From the legal side, from the social side and from the state administration. We must not disturb the people around us,” said Paskalis in Jayapura City, Papua.
Sebby's statement asking migrants residing in Papua to leave the area is considered against the law. Apart from the public, of course, they feel restless with this terror-inspired appeal.
He suspected that someone had pushed Sebby to make that statement, such as an armed criminal group. Because the person concerned is known to have always been outside the territory of Papua.
"The person behind Sebby must be checked, he was abroad and then made a statement to us who are in the Republic of Indonesia," he said.
He asked people who live in areas where conflicts often occur, such as Puncak, Puncak Jaya, Nduga and Intan Jaya regencies to not be afraid of Sebby's statement.
"Because there is a regional government together with the TNI and Polri who always guard and secure the area and its people," he said.
Paskalis then reminded Sebby not to provoke him. He ensured that all people in Papua wanted to live in peace and quiet without any disturbances, including from OPM terrorists.
