That was the statement by Rudi Mandacan as the Youth Leader of Arfak. Rudi assesses that the public needs to look at it from various perspectives so that they can understand the main purpose of the Government's policy of Enforcement of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM).

"There needs to be an in-depth socialization by the government regarding the PPKM policy, so that there will be no people who refuse and on the contrary the community will increasingly obey the policy," said Rudi.

Rudi who is also the Secretary of the DPC Democratic Party Kab. Manokwari stated that he fully supports the policy. However, an action is needed to reduce the negative impact, namely the reduced community activity, especially in the economic sector. This, if left unchecked, will be easily exploited by groups that are against the government to provoke the community by highlighting issues related to welfare and even the issue of the independence of the Papuan people.

"We as Arfak Tribe Youth Leaders will appeal to the people of Kab. Manokwari, especially the Arfak community, to support the PPKM policy by the Government to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in other parts of Indonesia, especially the West Papua region, so that the increase in Covid-19 sufferers can be immediately suppressed, "said Rudi.

"The public must be aware of implementing health protocols in the form of using masks and preventing large crowds of people," concluded Rudi.
