TNI Together with Residents Build Kamling Post on the RI-PNG Border

The RI-PNG Pamtas Task Force Battalion 131/Brs Pos Kotis together with the community built a Kamling Post at the RI-Papua New Guinea (PNG) Border Market in Skouw, Muara Tami District, Jayapura City, Saturday (10/7/2021).

This was conveyed by Pasi Intel Battalion 131/Brs Lettu Inf Yos Ezra Roni in his written statement.

Dansatgas said the construction of the Kamling Post is a form of concern for the Pamtas Battalion Battalion 131/Brs personnel for public security, especially at the RI-PNG border.

"The creation of the Kamling Post is a means of establishing a non-governmental environmental security system, aiming to avoid illegal activities or activities that can disrupt the security situation at the border, especially along the Skouw-Jayapura highway axis," said Dansatgas.

"We (the Task Force) will also help oversee the operation of the post so that the community will benefit from the creation of this Kamling Post," he added.

Thomas (42), one of the residents of Louncing Skouw Village, expressed his pleasure at the realization of the creation of the Kamling Post.

“As a resident of Skouw, I would like to thank the Pamtas 131/Brs Task Force, which has helped realize this Post.

In addition to maintaining the safety of residents, we can also use this post as a means of gathering for residents at the border,” said Thomas.
