Papuan senior figures reminded that the position of students is not easily manipulated by the political elite.

 

 Franz Korwa assesses that students in Papua are prone to being exploited for their own interests.

"The role of students is indeed big, but you should never take advantage of them. The political elite has a thousand ways for their interests,"

Students are also deemed necessary to be objective in assessing events in Papua. Unless students are part of a separatist group that has become a scourge in Papua.

"Not when students get lucky, they just get busy taking action. Students must be objective, prove that you are an educated generation, unless they are part of the separatist group,"

Because according to Korwa, the attacks carried out by separatist groups on health workers in the Bintang Mountains Regency have never even been opposed or received protests from students.

"If students are indeed humanitarian activists, where were they yesterday when the separatist group blindly carried out inhumane actions against health workers in Kiwirok? Why not take action?"

Korwa then asked the students to focus and put more importance on the learning process for a better future.

"Remember that students are the next generation, so it's better if you study diligently. Bring Papua to a more advanced region through the positive role you have,"
