The Government Officially Opens LPDP Registration, There is a Special Path for Papuan Men and Women with Disabilities

The government officially opens registration for the 2022 Education Fund Management Institution Program (LPDP) scholarships. In this case, registration will be opened in two stages.

"LPDP made improvements in the process. Starting from the dissemination of information, this time the LPDP registration had been informed a week earlier, there were 250 thousand viewers on Instagram LPDP was very enthusiastic to see young people. So we have more transparent information," said LPDP President Director Andin Hadiyanto in a webinar, Jakarta, Friday (25/2/2022).
 
According to him, the LPDP has also written to all ministries and regional heads regarding the opening of registration for the scholarship program.

On the same occasion, LPDP Scholarship Director Dwi Larso explained, LPDP registration always has three main categories, namely, affirmative scholarships, targeted scholarships, and general scholarships.

According to Dwi, for 2022, the LPDP scholarship in the affirmation category will open registration for Papuan children.
 
"Especially for the 2022 affirmation, there will be special scholarships for Papuan men and women. Of course, with this special easing, we are aiming for more and more Papuan sons and daughters and to continue their studies abroad, either," said Dwi.

In addition, said Dwi, the affirmation category scholarship will also open registration for groups of people with disabilities.

"Then apart from the Papuan scholarships, there are affirmation and underprivileged scholarships and special scholarships for people with disabilities," said Dwi.
Dwi said, LPDP was opened for phase I today until March 27. Then, phase II will be opened in early July.

"This means that we open February like friends who want to go to semester I in 2022-2023 can pursue registration this month. For July, friends, they will go to college at the beginning of 2023 above," he said.
