The Bhabinkamtibmas Movement for Reading and Writing (Gabus) from the Kemtuk Gresi Police of the Jayapura Police took place in Meykari Village, Kemtuk Gresi District, Wednesday (9/3/2022).
Bhabinkamtibmas Kemtuk Gresi Police, Aipda Yosafat Bemey explained that the Reading and Writing Movement (Gabus) program was carried out to eradicate illiteracy in Jayapura Regency.
He continued, his party teaches children to be able to recognize letters, numbers, read and write. A total of 14 children aged 6-14 years who participated in the activity.
Meanwhile, Kemtuk Police Chief Ipda Sunggul Sinurat said the cork program or reading and writing movement was not only for children, but for all groups.
This program is carried out as an effort to eradicate illiteracy, Bhabinkamtibmasnya invites children to learn and play together.

According to him, this time Bhabinkamtibmas and children in Meykari Village participated in teaching and learning activities.
Activities take place in a shop or exclusive class, apart from teaching and learning, Bhabinkamtibmas occasionally invites children to play.
He added that they also sang and read the prayer of King Solomon asking for wisdom, asking God for wisdom, because wisdom comes from God.
