Manokwari Police Holds Precision Doreri Tour to Accelerate Vaccination

The Manokwari Police carried out a vaccination tour in Doreri Presisi to remote areas such as Kebar, Saukorem in Tambrauw Regency and Anggi, Arfak Mountain Regency.

The Doreri Presisi tour vaccination program supports the work programs of the central and local governments. There are three Doreri vaccination tour booths, including the Arfak Mountains Police, Saukorem and Kebar Police, to the three regions that will carry out vaccination tours.

"The Doreri Presisi tour program is to support Polsek areas that are difficult to reach by vaccination. So we opened vaccination booths there with the hope that people would want to be vaccinated so they don't have to go to the city," said Manokwari Police Chief, AKBP Parisian Herman Gultom after releasing the vaccination team at the Manokwari Police Courtyard, Monday (21/3/2023).

The Doreri Presisi vaccination tour program to remote areas will involve the car community and the motorbike community. In addition, it involved Manokwari medical personnel and the West Papua Provincial Government to jointly carry out vaccinations in the area.
 
Manokwari Police Chief, AKBP Parasian Herman Gultom gave a statement to the media crew

"In this activity, we have coordinated with the local government. We hope that people will vaccinate the first, second and up to the third dose. At the same time, we have vaccinated residents and we provide basic necessities," he said.

Vaccination is important to increase communal immunity to avoid transmission of COVID-19. For residents who want to vaccinate, please come to vaccination booths opened by the police and local governments.

"Vaccinations will be carried out. But for us, people who want to vaccinate, please come to the vaccination site. So this vaccination is free of charge. If residents have been vaccinated, they are given basic necessities," he said.

He hopes that the people in the area support the current vaccination program intensively carried out by the TNI/Police and the Government. This accelerates the target of 70 percent of the population having been vaccinated

"Both the first dose of vaccine to the third booster vaccination. I hope there is support from all parties with the hope that it can run optimally without any obstacles," he said.
