Paskalis also emphasized that the reconciliation of Papua as a land of peace started from Merauke Regency. Therefore, the acceleration of the expansion of Papua Province needs to be accelerated.

Because according to him, the expansion will certainly advance the people in southern Papua economically and politically. In the future, jobs will be created for people in South Papua.

"This declaration of the expansion of the South Papua Province is not a joke, but it is based on the longing and groans of the people to immediately expand the South Papua Province," Paskalis concluded.
