Papua Provincial Government Will Grant 10 PON Venues

The Papuan Provincial Government (Pemprov) will donate 10 PON venues to beneficiaries.

The handover will be preceded by a cooperation agreement or Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the handover of assets, planned after Eid.

This was conveyed by Plt. Head of the Papua Province Youth and Sports Service, Alexander KY Kapisa, ST in Jayapura, Sunday (24/4/2022).

The grant of 10 PON venues, said Kapisa, is a strategic step to reduce the burden of financing the maintenance and maintenance of PON venues, as well as provide benefits for the next beneficiary.

"These 10 PON venues will be utilized, both for sporting events and non-sporting events," said Kapisa.

Kapisa explained that his party together with the Legal Bureau of the Papua Regional Secretariat had prepared the minutes of the handover of the assets of the 10 PON venues.

The 10 PON venues, respectively the Indoor & Sand Volleyball venue, the location of Koya Koso, were donated to the Papua Regional Police.

The Soft Ball & Base Ball venue for Uncen's location was given to Uncen. The Archery Venue, located in Kampung Harapan, was granted to KINGMI. The venue for the GOR GIDI, the location of the STT, was granted to GIDI.

The tennis court venue for the Jayapura Mayor's Office was donated to the Jayapura City Government.

The venue for the Futsal GOR, located in Timika, was granted to the Mimika Regional Government. The Wisma Archery venue, located in Kampung Harapan, was granted to KINGMI.
