Benhur Tomi Mano was elected by acclamation the chairman of the Asprov PSSI Papua

Benhur Tomi Mano was elected by acclamation as chairman of the PSSI Papua Provincial Association (Asprov) for the 2022-2026 period at the PSSI Papua Asprov Ordinary Congress which took place in Jayapura City, Friday.

"As the chairman of the committee, I give high appreciation and appreciation to the congress participants so that the trial mechanism runs successfully so that it can choose the chairman of the Asprov PSSI Papua," said the chairman of the Election Committee for the Asprov PSSI Papua Congress, Fachrudin Pasolo, Friday.

According to Fachrudin, in addition to the election of the chairman and deputy of the PSSI Papua Asprov, Rocky Bebena, he said at the congress he would choose the PSSI Exco or the executive committee for the next four years.

"There were eight members of Exco PSSI who were elected but one person resigned, leaving seven official members," he said.

He explained that the results of the congress were immediately reported to the central PSSI so that a Decree (SK) was issued to be ratified.

He added that the regular Asprov PSSI Papua 2022 congress was attended by 26 delegates from a total of 27 participants consisting of 10 PSSI Regency Associations (Askab) and 16 football clubs.

"We are grateful that at this meeting all the voters, both Askkab, PSSI City Association (Askot) and football clubs were all present," he said again.

The PSSI Papua Asprov Congress went quite tough but all the congress processes went smoothly.

Just to note, the seven PSSI Exco members are Fachrudin Pasolo, Touskha Oktafia Iba, Malhai Mabel, Daud Arim, Usman Wanimbo, Bobby Yakadewa and Justince Mebri.
