The charm of natural beauty in West Papua has skyrocketed to foreign countries. Fani Island as the front porch, national borders will be developed through the tourism sector.

Sarwom, M.Si explained that after setting foot on Fani Island, which is directly adjacent to Palau, he was very impressed with its natural potential. “After arriving I saw that this island was quite strategic. The orientation after we look at the tourism sector is very interesting because of the very good potential and attractiveness. We need to study and manage the local government, both the Province and the Raja Ampat Regency, how we manage tourism," he said, Saturday (13/8/2022) on Fani Island.
 
Sarwom acknowledged that tourism development certainly cannot run without the support of other technical OPDs. Moreover, the existence of Fani Island with a fairly long travel distance. He also invites all parties to maintain and care for the natural beauty that has been bestowed by God in West Papua.

“The three islands here are beautiful and interesting. This is my first time coming here and maybe in the future I will communicate with the Raja Ampat Regency Tourism Office. Let's take care of this beautiful island and take care of it as the foremost island, "said Sarwom.

The Head of the Ayau Islands District, Frits F. Dimara, S.Sos added that the development of tourism potential needs to be supported by all parties. Therefore, if you have seen it, the government is actually taking steps in the future.

“For the tourism potential in the Ayuu Islands, it is a big job, not only for me but for all of us. Today we can see automatically how we can do something, especially in border areas,” said the Head of the Ayau Islands District.
