KPK confirmed the witness facilitated the meeting with Lukas Enembe and the contractor

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) confirmed witness Doren Wakerwa was related to facilitating a meeting between the suspect Papua Governor Lukas Enembe (LE) and several contractors working on projects at the Papua Provincial Government.

Head of KPK Reporting Section Ali Fikri said in Jakarta on Tuesday that witness Doren Wakerwa was questioned at the KPK's Red and White Building, Jakarta, Monday (21/11), for the suspect Lukas Enembe in the investigation into the alleged bribery and gratuity of infrastructure projects in Papua Province. Doren is a working group for the Entrop Hamadi project.

"His knowledge was explored, among others, related to the facilitation of meetings between the suspect LE and several contractors working on projects at the Papua Provincial Government," said Ali Fikri in Jakarta, Tuesday.

Ali named five witnesses who did not comply with the investigator's summons on Monday (21/11), namely the private sector Ng Hok Lam, Daniel Christian Lewi as the owner of Dablin Motor/car dealer, ATM maintenance advantage employee Muhammad Chusnul Khuluqi, housewife named Tika Putri Ardiani, and private employees/Director of PT Rinaldi Acbasindo/Teuku Hamzah Husen sea transportation services.

"The investigation team immediately scheduled and summoned the witnesses and the KPK reminded them to be cooperative," said Ali.
 
Meanwhile, Tuesday, the KPK also summoned seven people for questioning at the KPK's Red and White Building, Jakarta, namely Girius One Yoman as Head of the Public Works Service (PU) / Commitment Making Officer (PPK) for the Entrop Hamadi project, Director of PT Papua Sinar Anugerah KSO PT Tabi Bangun Papua Sumantri, as well as five working groups for the Entrop Hamadi project, namely Okto Prasetyo, Gangsar Cahyono, Arni Paririe, Paskalina, and Yenni Pigome.

In this case, the KPK has named Lukas Enembe and several other parties as suspects. Regarding the construction of the case, the parties named as suspects and the articles suspected will be published when forced efforts are made, both arrest and detention, against the suspects.

Lukas Enembe was summoned by the KPK investigators team, Monday (12/9), at the Papua Mobile Brigade Headquarters, in his capacity as a witness. However, Lukas Enembe was not present.

The KPK then summoned Lukas Enembe to be questioned as a suspect at the KPK's Red and White Building, Jakarta, Monday (26/9). Lukas Enembe did not attend due to illness and submitted a letter for treatment to Singapore.
 
The KPK investigation team then met Lukas Enembe at his residence in Jayapura City, Papua, Thursday (3/11), in the framework of examining the case. In addition, the team consisting of KPK doctors and the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) also met Lukas Enembe for a health check.

The KPK also has an inspection report (BAP) from the examination as one of the formal requirements in handling a case. The KPK has also confiscated various pieces of evidence in the investigation of the case.

Finally, the KPK seized documents related to the case, electronic evidence, financial records, cash in rupiah and gold bars from searches of two locations in Jakarta, namely Lukas Enembe's house and an apartment.
