PON XX Papua Indonesia Safe from Security Disruptions

Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Zainudin Amali stressed to all parties not to worry about security in the 2020 National Sports Week (PON) event in Papua, including from the disturbance of the Armed Separatism Criminal Group (KKSB).

Zainudin requested that all parties do not need to worry about the event. According to him, both the National Police and the TNI continue to work together to secure during the Games, as well as warding off all worries. He also requested that all parties join in supporting the success of the biggest multi-sport event in the country.

The same thing was said by the Cenderawasih Military Commander Maj. Gen. Herman Asaribab, that his party was ready to support the successful implementation of PON and Peparnas. For that matter, he said that his party also continued to synergize with the National Police to the public.

Meanwhile, Papua Regional Police Chief Inspector General Paulus Waterpauw is also determined that the Indonesian Papuan PON will run successfully, safely and comfortably.
