The existence of the KKB Has Been Mapped by the Papua Regional Police

Papua Police Chief Inspector General Paul Waterpauw claimed to have monitored the movement of KKB armed criminal groups in Papua. The KKB led by Egianus Kogoya is moving to the Tembagapura area, Mimika Regency. Meanwhile, the Telenggen Lekagak group also shifted.

"We already know information about their movements, all of them, Lekagak Telenggen and his friends from Puncak shifted to Intan Jaya, it is clear, including the Egianus group," he said.

The Kapolda then mapped a number of red zones prone to KKB disturbance. Some areas that are categorized as in the red zone include Intan Jaya Regency, Nduga Regency, Puncak Regency and several areas that are not mentioned.

He sees the problem of leadership as having a big influence on whether or not a region is conducive. Paulus asked regional heads, especially in areas prone to proactively approaching the community. The leaders in the red zone area must emulate what was done by the regions that succeeded in changing their conditions.

"Examples of areas that used to be red and then turned green. The key word is only one, there is a leader there. There is a problem in an area, yes the leader is there, don't run, don't throw hot ash," Paulus said.

Bearing in mind, the welfare conditions of the people in several districts in Papua are still concerning. He asked the regional head to be aware of the conditions and do concrete things for his area. especially if you enter the red zone.
