TNI-Polri Blend with Indonesian Papuans Against OPM

The large amount of information circulating both in the electronic and print media in the Papuan community, especially in areas that are currently affected by the conflict caused by the separatist movement of the Free Papua Organization (OPM), makes all uneasy.

Not a few who said in his posting on social media that, the TNI came to Papua only to eradicate indigenous Papuans from their own land. Not only that, they also say that the security forces are arbitrary towards Papuan civilians, isn't this very misleading?

Most of the social media that discredits the TNI-Polri security apparatus comes from groups that are pro with the OPM. They deliberately write thus to provoke the emotions of citizens and lead Papuans to hate the security forces.

The facts on the ground turned out not to be the case, the TNI-Polri mingled and united with the Papuan people to maintain security. Instead they feel very happy that the security forces are in their area, in other words they are safe.

So it is not true if the TNI and Papuans don't greet each other. the proof is that the TNI and Papuans can live in harmony and peace without any tension between them. Because Papuans are aware that the presence of the TNI is not to antagonize citizens, but rather protect citizens from OPM separatist groups.
