Community awareness to help Tembagapura residents should be appreciated

The Mimika Regency Government of Papua appreciates the various communities, social organizations, associations, PT Freeport Indonesia and the local Regional Organization (OPD) that have shown their concern in helping residents of the Tembagapura District who now live temporarily in Timika.
.
Mimika Deputy Regent Johannes Rettob in Timika said that since the arrival of thousands of Tembagapura residents to Timika, social assistance in the form of various basic needs continues to arrive at the Kingmi Church complex in Rehobot Mile 32, at a location owned by Amungme community leader, Janes Natkime.
.
"The assistance delivered to Mile 32 at Mr. Janes Natkime's place not only came from various OPDs, but was also donated by communities, community organizations, associations, individuals, PT Freeport Indonesia, KNPI and others. "the name of the Mimika regional government, we express extraordinary appreciation and appreciation for the care of the Mimika people to help their brothers from Tembagapura," Johannes said.
.
The former Head of Mimika's Dishubkominfo said the assistance of basic needs such as rice, instant noodles, granulated sugar, cooking oil, chicken eggs, milk, coffee, tea, and others had been distributed to Tembagapura District residents who lived at several points around Timika City.
.
"The aid has begun to be distributed, which channeled it from the leaders of Tembagapura residents themselves because they are the most aware of their residents living anywhere. I got information from the Social Service, today the aid was packed in plastic bags to be distributed to families evacuated from Tembagapura. We hope that all the assistance will be distributed on target because the residents evacuated from Tembagapura will need it urgently, "Johannes said.
.
In addition to distributing social assistance to Tembagapura District residents, officials from the Population and Civil Registry Office of the Mimika Regency Government also provide e-KTP recording services, family card making, child birth certificates, marriage certificates and child identity cards for residents who do not yet have various population documents.
.
"While this community is still in Timika, all Disdukcapil officers provide population document services so that when they return to their villages, all the documents can be completed," Johannes hoped.
.
Previously, hundreds of residents of Kampung Kimbeli and hundreds of residents from villages in the Tembagapura District Area decided to leave their village to be evacuated to Timika to save themselves from the threat of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB).
.
A total of 614 residents in a number of villages in Tembagapura requested immediate evacuation on Sunday (8/3) because they had difficulty in obtaining staples since the presence of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in the region recently.
