The Papua Province Covid-19 Handling Task Force unveiled the latest data on the spread of the Covid-19 virus in Papua Province, calculated on Friday 28 March 2020, at 19:00 CEST.

"This hour has no addition of positive cases of Covid-19, there are still 7 positive cases. Additions to PDP are 41 patients and 2,057 ODP. All PDP patients are still being treated with mild and moderate illness," explained Dr. Silwanus.

"So teams in all regencies build networks through PDP patients, through interviews, and conduct surveillance with the TNI - Polri to get data by name and by address. So there is an increase in the number of ODP obtained," he said.

It asked the cooperative ODP, to remain at home, and report themselves if symptoms occur to the local health facilities.
