The Provincial Government of Papua through the T.E.A Regional Secretary Hery Dosinaen urges all Cenderawasih people to not panic, and shows excessive reaction following the corona virus or Covid-19 entry into Indonesia, as announced by President Jokowi in the Jakarta media last Monday.

"Actually, the most important thing is that we all Papuans should not over-suggest, there must be no excessive paranoia towards this virus," Hery said when chairing the Corona Virus Alert Task Force meeting in Jayapura on Friday (6/3) yesterday.

He said, everything was normal, not too excessive to respond to it, which eventually became suggestions and thoughts, finally reduced our immunity and so forth.

He also reminded the public to always maintain health and cleanliness of the body, in order to avoid this disease. Namely by eating regularly, maintaining cleanliness of the hands, body and others.

Meanwhile, related to the preparation of the Papua government in anticipating the Corona virus, the Regional Secretary claimed to have formed Satgs from a cross-sector. Namely a small team in accordance with the direction of the Governor and Deputy Governor.

This task force will carry out promotional activities (health promotion), preventive (prevention) and hospitals, which of course there are breakdowns of several working groups that are categorized in these three components.
