Indonesian National Police Compact Distributes Rice to Residents

Nagan Raya Regional Police together with Kodim 0116 / Nagan Raya distributed 500 rice boxes to poor people on Meulaboh National Road - Tapak Tuan, Nagan Raya, Tuesday 21/04/2020

"This is in order to help the underprivileged people because of the COVID-19 pandemic, so we immediately took steps, in order to give our contribution," said AKBP Risno, S.I.K Nagan Raya Police Chief accompanied by Lieutenant Colonel Guruh Tjahyono Dandim Nagan Raya.

He said that the aid distributed was in the form of rice boxes targeting motorists or people passing by to the aid post.

In addition to the drivers of the vehicle the Indonesian National Police also distributed rice boxes to the community by going around the villages.

Wahid, one of the residents of Ujong Fatihah, said that the assistance from this boxed rice is very helpful especially since many people are staying at home due to the co-pandemic19

"This pandemic is our common concern, they have educated themselves by following the government protocol. We hope that the community will continue to follow the protocol, especially to remain at home," said Dandim 0116 / Nagan Raya, Lt. Col. Inf. Guruh Tjahyono on the sidelines the activities.
