As an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19 especially in the pelososk area of ​​the village, members of Koramil 1709-04 / Yapbar, led by Serma Anaklektus Worumi together with members of the West Yapen Sector Police, carried out spraying disinfectant in homes of residents in Kampung Toweta, West Yapen District, Kab. Kep. Yapen, Sunday (04/19/2020).

The arrival of the group from the Koramil and Polsek by using two-wheeled vehicles was greeted enthusiastically by the residents of Kampung Toweta, even more so by the Head of Kampung Toweta Abner Aronggear who together with village officials helped assist in the spraying activity of disinfectants.

Serma Anaklektus said that this activity was a form of concern from the Koramil 1709-04 / Yapbar in an effort to fight the spread of the corona virus in its area, including in remote areas of the village, by spraying disinfectant liquid in people's homes as a step in preventing the spread of the corona virus.

"In addition to residents' homes, we also spray at GKI Sion Toweta Church and Toweta Village Hall. And in this activity we also appeal to citizens to work together to fight the spread of the corona virus by implementing instructions from the government on how to prevent the corona virus, "he said.

As Head of the Village, Abner expressed his gratitude to the members of the Koramil and the West Yapen Sector Police who were willing to take the time to come to Toweta Village to conduct the corona virus prevention effort.

We feel cared for by the men from the TNI and Polri, even though our village is quite difficult to come to because if it rains, surely the vehicle will not be able to cross it, because the new road access is hardening process and even then it is spread out with sand and stone. So if the weather rains the road will be slippery and prone to landslides, he said.
