Raja Ampat Regent Asks Waspada Covid-19

Raja Ampat Regent, Abdul Faris Umlati reminded all relevant stakeholders to increase awareness and prevention of co-19 in Raja Ampat. This was confirmed by the regent in a co-19 prevention technical coordination meeting, which took place at the Regent's Office on Monday (4/20).

To date, Raja Ampat has not yet entered the Covid-19 red zone and ODP data has begun to decline. However, the Raja Ampat Regency Government and Forkompinda continue to hold co-19 prevention coordination meetings.

"Tonight we have a meeting to discuss the covid-19 outbreak. Currently there is ODP, there is no PDP. I hope that PDP is not in Raja Ampat Regency. But seeing developments in the area around us such as in Manokwari and Bintuni there have been positive coronary additions, "In Sorong City, there is an additional PDP. I see a few weeks ago that Waisai City still feels comfortable, but we must not remain silent, we need to improve things to prevent the corona virus," he said.

On that occasion the 1805 Raja Ampat Dandim, Lt. Col. Inf Josep Paulus Kaiba asked the Task Force to tighten supervision on unofficial entrances and remind the public to comply with local government regulations / appeals. The public should not be a provocateur, spreading disturbing information.

"Related to the existence of a person who does not heed the government's appeal, we will take action, because our existence as the main defense tool of the country. So that what has been the appeal of the government will remain guarded. So there must be no community who become provocateurs who can cause unrest amid community, "said Dandim.

The Regent added that in the midst of the epidemic, logistical problems had to continue and the curfew had not yet been enacted.
