The TNI and Polri Institution together with the Jayapura City Government sprayed disinfectant fluid simultaneously at 4 different points in the Jayapura area. Based on the Chief of Police's Telegram Letter Number: ST / 1008 / IIIKES.7 / 2020 dated March 27, 2020 concerning the simultaneous spraying of Disinfectants throughout the Regional Police in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Representing the Regional Police Chief, Karo Ops Papua Regional Police in his statement expressed his gratitude for the presence of various parties in the action. "The activities that we do, and which are carried out throughout Indonesia at the same time, take place simultaneously," he said.

Meanwhile, by involving the local government, health personnel and security forces of the TNI-Polri, amounting to 223 personnel (100 personnel from the Regional Police), were divided into 4 joint teams that sprayed disinfectant liquid at 4 different points in Jayapura City.

Spraying is done by using AWC cars and fire trucks. The first team led by AKBP Daniel P, SIK carried out spraying in the area of ​​North Jayapura District, including DOK IX, Base-G, the front stop of Cenderawasih Gor, Porasko Port and Taman Imbi.

The second team led by AKBP Karla Yakobus carried out spraying in the South Jayapura district area, including the Jayapura sea port, the Hamadi Market, the old Rntrop Terminal, and the Entrop PTC.

The third team led by AKBP Soeroso, SH carried out spraying in the Abepura District area, including Youtefa Market, Tanah Hitam, Abepura Circle and Abepura Old Market.

The last or fourth team led by AKBP Aris Rusdianto, SIK, M.Si carried out spraying in the Mako region of Papua Regional Police, including Mako Papua Regional Police and surrounding areas, SPN Papua Regional Police, and members' homes exposed to the Covid-19 Virus. To note, this activity is also carried out simultaneously by all the Polres and Polsek Papua Police ranks.
