West Papua Covid-19 Task Force Team Gets Additional Medical Aid from HIMPI Kaimana

Indonesian Youth Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI) of Kaimana Regency, handed over medical equipment assistance to the West Papua Province Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) task force prevention team, in Swiss-Belhotel Manokwari, Friday (3/4/2020).

The medical device assistance was in the form of 350 pieces of rapid test equipment, 1,000 mask boxes and 100 special glasses for medical staff, with a view to assisting the team in handling the prevention of the virus.

The representative of the DPC HIPMI of the Kaimana Regency, Aris said, the medical equipment assistance was given as a form of concern and support of the Kaimana Regency's DREAM to the government in preventing covid-19 outbreaks in West Papua.

According to him, in the current conditions the regional government is in dire need of support from various parties. Therefore, he hopes that the assistance can be put to good use.

"With the existing conditions we do not want to stay silent. "We have distributed this assistance to several regions in West Papua. We hope that with the efforts made by the government, all can be minimized and handled properly," Aris told reporters.

Head of the Covid-19 Task Force team, Derek Ampnir, expressed his appreciation to DPC HIPMI of Kaimana Regency who had participated in taking part in addressing the current problems.
