Babinsa Military Rayon Command 02 / Assologaima Serka Reky together with the community carried out new agricultural land clearing activities located in the Muliama District, Jayawijaya Regency. Saturday (5/16)

In the activity Babinsa 02 / Assologaima Serka Reky together with the Muliama District community, Herman Lengka, worked together to carry out the process of opening a new agricultural land of ± 1 hectare.

Serka Reky said that the activity carried out with the community was aimed at realizing the National food self-sufficiency program launched by the government as well as the territorial invasion of the food security program in the Kodim 1702 / Jayawijaya region.

Furthermore, Serka Reky revealed in accordance with the instructions and directives of Dandim 1702 / Jayawijaya Lt. Col. Inf Candra Dianto, SH, so that each Koramil cooperates with its target residents to open agricultural land as an anticipatory measure during the Covid 19 Pendemi period which if this continues does not rule out the scarcity of food staples. he said.

Following up the command of Dandim 1702 / Jayawijaya, Danramil 02 / Assologaima First Lieutenant Pramono ordered his Babins to synergize with residents in preparing agricultural land. With the hope that the community will be more prosperous and the wheels of the economy can run well considering that until now the Covid 19 outbreak has no signs of ending.

And another positive impact is that it is easy to transfer knowledge in agriculture to the community, "he said.
