Police Hold Patrol Sabil Distribute Masks

Skouw Subsector Police Officers hold patrols while distributing masks to residents around the Skouw-Wutung RI-Papua New Guinea (PNG) Cross-border Post (PNG) in Muara Tami District, Jayapura City, Papua.

"In order to break the chain of distribution of COVID-19, the Skouw Polsubsector is carrying out patrols as well as distributing masks in the RI-PNG border area," said the Kapou Subsector, Sktw Iptu Kasrun.

Skouw Polsubsectorector personnel patrol the RI-PNG border while appealing to workers / employees and residents in the Skouw PLBN area to comply with government regulations.

"This activity is carried out for the prevention of the corona virus that has spread in Jayapura City," he said.

When patrolling, officers remind residents to always follow the government's instructions in preventing COVID-19 so that local people avoid the virus.

"We urge them to always wear masks, adopt a healthy lifestyle, maintain environmental hygiene, and always wash their hands before and after carrying out activities," he said.

In addition to appealing, said Iptu Kasrun, his party also appreciated the people who had used masks and obeyed the government's suggestion to break the chain of the corona virus.
