Good news! 20 positive patients in Sorong were cured

The recovery rate of Covid-19 patients in Sorong, West Papua has increased.

Today, 20 Covid-19 patients who have been declared cured and have completed quarantine have left the quarantine facility in the Salak Village Education and Training Building, Sorong City, West Papua.

Sorong Mayor Lambert Jitmau and Covid-19 Task Force Accelerating Task Force officers attended the release of the patients.

"Thank you to God's servants and the entire community of Sorong City for praying for Covid-19 patients to recover so that 27 people have gone home," Lambert said, Friday (6/19/2020).

Lambert also thanked the medical staff and Task Force personnel who had worked optimally to overcome the transmission of the Corona virus that caused Covid-19.

The Mayor asked residents who had recovered from Covid-19 and completed quarantine to remain disciplined in implementing health protocols to avoid transmission of the Corona virus.

"I also hope that residents who recover and return home to socialize to the community in the vicinity of the Covid-19 protocol that is to keep a distance, wear masks, and not get together to break the chain of the spread of the Corona virus," Lambert said.
