New Normal Barbasis IT Has Been Implemented in Jayapura

The Jayapura District Government has gradually begun to implement the new normal policy during the COVID-19 pandemic in accordance with the direction of the central government.

Jayapura Regent Mathius awoitauw SE, M.Si said the implementation of the new normal or normal new policy was adjusted to the conditions and conditions that existed in the Jayapura regency.

"We have entered into a new IT-based normal," said as Matius Awoitauw told reporters at the Jayapura regent's office on Wednesday (3/6).

He said, new IT-based normal for example the application of teaching and learning activities (KBM) which are still being carried out with online-based KBM services especially in the yellow and red zone areas.

"We also stop meetings like this today and we have to start with online system meetings," he said.

The number one person in Jayapura Regency said that his party had formed a special team to study matters relating to the implementation of new or normal normal policies in several districts of Jayapura.

The study will later be used as a basis for the government to decide what the new normal policy implementation will be like in the field.

"For example, for education in the areas of yellow, red and green zones like what, currently the team is conducting a study of how the application of teaching and learning activities during the new normal," he added.

He added that the application of new normal also applies to worship activities in houses of worship. That in the red zone and yellow zone areas, it was decided together through a coordination meeting with the Indonesian Ulema Council and the fellowship of the churches of Jayapura Regency.

Restrictions continue to be made by not allowing worship activities in places of worship both churches, mosques and other places of worship.
