The construction of a bridge and a 100 meter long mooring port in Timuka village (Timika Pantai), Central Mimika District, Mimika Regency, Papua has entered the finishing stage or has reached 95 percent.

Head of Central Mimika District, Moses Yarangga, said that soon the concrete bridge in Timuka Village (Timika Pantai) would be completed and could be used.

"The mooring bridge and pier for small boats and motorboats in Timuka village was built to facilitate the activities of the residents of Timuka village to transport the various needs of residents," said Moses Yarangga, Saturday (6/20) yesterday.

According to Kadistrik, the bridge with a length of 100 meters and a width of nearly two meters uses Village Fund funds for the 2019 Budget Year of Rp. 224,000,000. (two hundred twenty four million rupiah).

"The existence of this bridge can facilitate access for residents who come or leave Timuka. In addition, the concrete bridge can last a long time and beautify the beauty of the village. People when they come must be seen from afar, they will be generous, so anyone who stops by in Timuka village will feel happy, "said Moses.

He hoped, after completion of the bridge construction, the Government in this case the Mimika Regent could see as well as formalize it.

"Surely many people do not believe in the construction of a 100-meter long concrete cast with a fund of Rp 224 million, we will propose that the Mimika regent can later come to the Timuka village to inaugurate the bridge and the mooring dock. Thank God is now almost complete, because the progress has reached 95 percent more. Only three meters remain, the process is complete, "he said

On the same occasion, two Mimika DPRD members namely, Deputy Chair II Yohanis Felix Helyanan and member of Commission A, Thobias Albert Maturbongs took time to inspect the bridge and pier.
