Not only securing the Indonesia-Papua New Guinea border region, the determination of the Kostrad MR 411 / PDW Pamgas Task Force service to Papuans is also manifested in helping to provide health services through a mobile treatment program.
Dansatgas Yonif MR 411 / PDW Kostrad Major Inf Rizky Aditya S. Sos., M.Han. revealed, the door-to-door treatment program in the fostered area, has been a routine activity of the Pamtas Task Force from the beginning of duty. In the midst of the co-19 virus pandemic, this activity continues to be intensified by the Task Force Post in their respective target areas.
One of them is the one carried out by the Kondo Post led by Wadanpos Serda Jainal Khaitam along with 2 health personnel and 3 members, traveling around Kondo Village, Naukenjerai District, door-to-door providing health services to residents in need, Wednesday (3/6/2020) .
"Our personnel (Satgas), traveling around Kampung Kondo came to the homes of residents to provide treatment for residents who complained of being sick," he said.
"There are residents who complain of toothaches, scars, headaches, back pain, itching and so forth, examined and then given medicine," he said.
He added, providing health services is a form of the Task Force's concern for residents in the target area. Personnel also constantly remind people to always maintain their health, live cleanly, diligently wash their hands and wear masks when leaving the house to break the chain of the corona virus pandemic (covid-19).
Meanwhile, Abel Mayua (43), a resident of Kampung Kondo, expressed his gratitude for the health services provided, he was very happy, the Task Force was always present in the midst of the community.
"I am very grateful for this treatment, hopefully the TNI fathers from the Kondo Post are always facilitated in the task and closeness with the Kondo Kampung community to be maintained and well maintained," he said.
