West Papua Regional Police Polairud Social Service Visit Coastal Communities in Sorong

The West Papua Regional Police Directorate, in the midst of the pandemic Covid-19 conducted a social service in order to distribute food to four villages on the coast of the Sorong district last week.

Director of the West Papua Regional Police, Air Police Commissioner. Eko Irianto, S.IK, through Kompew Lodewik Reiupassa, said that the social service activities were carried out in four villages in the Makbon district of Sorong regency.

"The social service activity is a routine activity every month by the West Papua Regional Police Directorate, we visited four villages to distribute food, each village Suartolo, Malaumkarta, Wadas and Suartur village Makbon district Sorong district," said Riupassa, Friday (6/19).

In addition to distributing food ingredients, he also provides guidance to the community who work as fishermen in the four villages.

According to him, social service sharing the food, is an effort to approach the National Police in this case the West Papua Regional Police Directorate of Polairud to coastal communities, especially those who feel the impact of this co-19 pandemic.

"In addition to distributing bama, we also conduct socialization and provide guidance to service people in the villages, the goal is that they will not catch fish using explosives and other chemicals," Kompol Lodewik explained.

It was said, his party would do the same with other activities to people in different villages. This is a routine activity to visit the people in the coastal area.
