1995 Akabri Alumni Hold a Social Service

All alumni of the Indonesian Armed Forces Academy (Akabri), now the Indonesian Armed Forces Academy and the 41st batch of the Indonesian Police Academy in 1995, particularly those serving in the Sorong Raya and surrounding areas, carry out social service devotion to the community in Soop Island, Sorong Kepulauan District, West Papua, on Monday (7/20/2020).

A number of assistance was delivered directly to fishermen including 410 food packages, two sets of compressors and diving equipment and eight sets of long line fishing equipment. The activity was supported by the Fleet Command III and the Sorong Navy Base XIV, the West Papua Regional Police Headquarters, Denbekang with their respective elements KRI Albakora-867, a unit of the Ditpolair Sea Rider, Denatang Combat Boat, and a number of soldiers from the Sorong Lantern XIV .

All the popular alumni "Milky Way" were present at the social community activities, including the Asops Pangkoarmada III Marine Colonel (P) Agam Endrasmoro, Danden Bekang Kodam XVIII / Kasuari Lieutenant Colonel Agus Sugiarto, West Papua Regional Police Director General of the Indonesian Military Police Commander Eko Irianto. Social service was carried out in the context of the Silver Reunion, 25 years of the 1995 Indonesian Military Service. Other social activities are blood donations which will be carried out at the Navy Hospital Dr. Oetodjo, Sorong. Whereas the granting of compassion to Warakawuri and former Caregivers 7 was carried out at the respective Warakawuri AKABRI places.

According to Marine Colonel (P) Agam Endrasmoro that this activity aims to strengthen and maintain the spirit of korsa and togetherness among officers graduating from the Military Academy, the Naval Academy, the Air Force Academy and the Police Academy in 1995 through social service activities devoted to community service in commemoration of "25 Years AKABRI 1995 Served "in 2020 so as to create cooperation, solidity, synergy and a sense of unity in order to support the tasks of the TNI - Polri going forward.
