The Jayapura Regency Government is having difficulty accommodating patients exposed to Coronavirus Desease 2019 (Covid-19).

A number of facilities provided outside the Yowari Regional General Hospital for mildly ill patients have exceeded capacity.

One of the reasons for the increase in positive cases of Covid-19 in Jayapura Regency is the lack of public awareness about the importance of health protocols.
