Kodam XVII / Cenderawasih cooperated with the Papua Provincial Health Office to prevent malaria for the people of Papua and within the army of the Army.
The signing of the collaboration was carried out by the Military Commander XVII / Cenderawasih Maj. Gen. Herman Asaribab with the Head of the Papua Health Office Robby Kayame at the Bina Yudha Hall, Makodam XVII / Cenderawasih.
Military Commander XVII / Cenderawasih Maj. Gen. Herman Asaribab said this collaboration was to support malaria prevention and prevention efforts and support for health supplies to members of the TNI and the community in Papua Province.
"This collaboration aims to support the efforts of Kodam XVII / Cenderawasih malaria in the environment of TNI soldiers and the community in the Papua Province region," said the Military Commander in a written statement of Information for Kodam XVII / Cenderawasih.

The Military Commander added, the signing of this cooperation agreement was also a means to support the main tasks of the TNI contained in article 7 paragraph 2 of Law number 34 of 2004 concerning the TNI, namely the TNI's tasks related to Military Operations for War (OMP) and Military Operations Other Than War (OMSP).
