Pangdam XVII / Cenderawasih Provides GKI Congregation Assistance in Dondai

Military Commander XVII / Cenderawasih Maj. Gen. Herman Asaribab and his entourage attended a joint service with the Christian Education Foundation Management Board (BP YPK) in Papua and handed over aid to SD YPK Dondai and SD YPK Kwadeware, Waibu Mooy District, Jayapura on Sunday (5/7) ).

Commander of the Major General of the Indonesian Armed Forces Herman Asaribab said in his remarks, this joint worship was to establish a friendly relationship with the community and members of the GKI Immanuel Dondai Church, Waibu Mooy District.

"This time the joint service was to establish a friendly relationship between the TNI in this case Kodam XVII / Cenderawasih with the community and members of the GKI Church Immanuel Dondai," said Pangdam Maj. Gen. Herman Asaribab through written statements.

Pangdam Herman Asaribab said that his visit was not only to worship together but also to hand over the help of the community and members of the GKI Immanuel Dondai Church.

"In addition to worshiping together, I as Commander of the Military Commander representing Kodam XVII / Cenderawasih also came here to provide financial assistance to improve the welfare of the community and members of the GKI Church Immanuel Dondai," said Pangdam Herman Asaribab.

 The Commander also plans to establish a soccer school, a flight school, and wants to advance the education of young Papuans.

Meanwhile, Rev. Robi Mokay STh representing the community and members of the GKI Church Immanuel Dondai expressed his gratitude to Mr. Pangdam, his family and entourage who were willing to attend to hold joint worship and provide assistance to the community in Dondai and Kwadeware villages.

"Thank you the Military Commander with you and the group who were willing to attend the joint service and provide assistance to us, may God bless everything that Mr. and Mrs. Pangdam do," he hoped.
