Preventing the Distribution of Covid-19, TNI Distributes Free Masks in the Church

Task Force Infantry Battalion 125 / Si'mcan continue to aggressively carry out preventive movements to break the chain of the spread of the corona virus through various activities.

The action of concern from Pos Kotis and Pos Maro led directly by Letda Ckm dr. Handi Tri Effendi, in the form of distributing free masks to the members of the Church of St Peter's in Bupul Village, Elikobel District, Merauke, Sunday (12/7).

It is said Dansatgas Infantry Battalion 125 / Si'mbisa, Lt. Col. Inf Anjuanda Pardosi, in addition to the distribution of masks, the day before worship, a disinfectant was sprayed throughout the church building.

According to him, this was done to prevent and break the chain of the spread of Covid-19 in the regions.

"Spraying disinfectant liquid in St. Peter's Church has been done a day before the worship. While the measurement of body temperature and the distribution of masks to members of the congregation were carried out before the congregation entered the church, "he explained.

He said, his party always continued to invite the public to comply with health protocols according to government recommendations.

Meanwhile Chairman of the Church Council of St. Peter, Hendrikus Tanjay expressed his gratitude for the care of the 125th Battalion Task Force / Si'mbisa through prevention activities Covid 19 in the church environment.
