Mandobo Tribal Leaders Support Otsus with Evaluation

A request for an evaluation of the Special Autonomy (Otsus) fund was also voiced by Johanes Okurop, who is one of the Mandobo Tribe Leaders.

In this case, he requested an evaluation of the special autonomy funds, especially regarding optimizing the empowerment of village communities.

"Special autonomy needs to be evaluated specifically, it needs to be optimized empowering village communities," he said.

He said that the empowerment of village communities was not yet fully optimal so there needed to be an evaluation aimed at measuring the effectiveness of the special autonomy fund in Papua Province.

This is important because the villagers have an important role in achieving the welfare of the people of Papua.

"Related to this, Special Autonomy needs to be continued so that the village community can continue to feel the special autonomy funds," he explained.

Johanes Okurop hopes that all communities can continue to voice the continuation of the Special Autonomy Fund for better development.
