Health sector PB PON and PB Peparnas Papua conduct task mapping

The Health Sector The National Sports Week Grand Committee or PB PON XX Papua and the National Paralympic Week Grand Committee or PB Peparnas XVI Papua carried out the task mapping with a number of related agencies. The mapping was carried out in Jayapura City.

Health Sector Coordinator for PB PON XX Papua and PB Peparnas XVI Papua, Aloysius Giyai, said that the mapping was necessary to avoid overlapping funding between related agencies. Giyai stated that the success of the two sports events will be determined by the coordination and cooperation of various related agencies.

He stated that his party had discussed plans for handling emergencies in each arena of PON and Peparnas implementation, as well as emergency handling at PON and Peparnas referral hospitals.

To increase PON XX Papua and Peparnas XVI Papua health workers, Giyai stated that his party would work together to bring in medical personnel from a number of hospitals in eastern Indonesia, such as in Makassar and Manado. With this cooperation, health workers who are brought in do not travel too far, so that it is more economical.

The head of the Jayapura Regency Health Office, Khairul Lie, said that his party had alerted 400 health workers to be placed in every arena and place where they were needed in organizing the XX Papua PON.
